The purpose of the study: analysis of the effectiveness of the stationary level of the psychiatric service of the city of Moscow to assess the achieved results of the ongoing reform and identify areas for further improvement. Material and methods. In a continuous retrospective study using the methods of system logical analysis, descriptive statistics, analytical and comparative analyzes, the indicators of the resource and personnel security of inpatient psychiatric institutions of Moscow in 2010-2017 were studied. The data from the forms of federal statistical observation No. 10, 36 for 2010-2017 were used. taking into account that the modernization of the psychiatric service started in 2010. Results. Over the studied 8-year period in Moscow, the average psychiatric bed occupancy rate increased, the proportion of patients in inpatient treatment for more than one year, out of the total number of hospitalized, decreased, which indicates an increase in the efficiency of use of mental health services. Between various territorial psychiatric associations (TPA), uneven distribution of the population served, as well as human resources, was detected with exceeding the maximum values of the staff fatigue ratio. Findings. Further optimization of the bed fund should be made taking into account the efficiency of its use, in proportion to the increase in the number of beds in the day hospital and / or social service beds. Given the uneven distribution of the population served between different TPA, further changes are needed. In addition, it is advisable to bring the level of combination of medical personnel in accordance with the requirements of labor legislation.
