FOOD AND NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT PEOPLE IN ELDERLY AND SENILE AGE AS A FACTOR THE PREVENTION OF PREMATURE AGING AND DEVELOPMENT OF GERIATRIC SYNDROMES

Summary:
Actuality: In modern geriatrics, the main age-associated clinical conditions include malnutrition or malnutrition syndrome. It determines the development of other geriatric syndromes and disease: the syndrome of senile asthenia, syndrome downs sarcopenia, cognitive impairment, development neurodegen-nerative pathology etc. that food is a universally recognized factor of premature aging. Purpose: consider nutrition and nutritional support of people in residential and senile age as a factor in the prevention of premature aging and the development of geriatric syndromes. Material and methods: The published scientific materials on this problem are analyzed. Results: The syndrome malnutrition is one of the most common in structure geriatric syndromes, covers more than 50% of people of elderly and senile age. In multimedialnych programs of treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of geriatric patients have shown their efficiency cellular chronobiology binarizations and preparations on their basis. One form of nutritional support is also the inclusion of metabiotics in the diet. Conclusions: In the population of older people is quite widespread syndrome of malnutrition -50% or more of the elderly and senile. Syndrome of malnutrition is associated with age-associated diseases and syndromes (SSA, sarcopenia, fall syndrome, etc.). Screening for syndrome of malnutrition risk through specific questionnaires and scales (MST, SNAQ, MUST, MNA-SF and SGA) is important for primary and secondary prevention. An important tool for the prevention of syndrome of malnutrition, as well as premature aging and the development of geriatric syndromes is nutritional support, primarily through the inclusion of healthy foods in the diet of older people. In addition, cellular Chrono-blockers have been shown to be effective in multimodal treatment, prevention and rehabilitation programs for geriatric patients. Nutritional support is a significant factor in the prevention of premature aging and the development of geriatric syndromes. Human aging is accompanied by intestinal microflora dysbiosis. To prevent age-associated pathology, its correction due to the inclusion of metabiotics in the diet of elderly and senile people is essential
