Introduction. Clearly defined stages of development and testing of the draft nursing standards allow you to get a high-quality product, the use of which will facilitate the implementation of nursing manipulations without complications, equip the procedure for performing nursing services with all the necessary resources and optimize the time of its implementation. The paper shows that approbation is an important stage in the work on the draft standard, which serves as an official approval or approval of the document in order to objectively assess the qualities or properties of the product proposed for verification. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of the head of the nursing service at the stages of development and testing of standards of nursing at the level of a medical organization. Materials and methods. Based on the use of statistical and analytical methods, a convenient form of approbation Protocol has been developed, which allows us to objectively consider the comments, suggestions and clarifications made, to detect inconsistencies in the manipulation algorithms and the list of material equipment. Results and discussion. We offer a detailed description of the sections of the Protocol of approbation through which nurses participating in the approbation can report their comments and suggestions that were not taken into account when analyzing other sections. Conclusion. The role of the head of the nursing service at the stage of checking the draft document is the strategic selection of structural divisions and medical personnel, who can and should participate in the testing procedure, since there will be resistance, reluctance to work on such an algorithm. For this purpose, a convenient and informative Protocol for testing a simple medical service was developed, allowing you to clearly see the results of testing and, if necessary, quickly adjust the text of the draft standard.
