TEAM COACHING AS A WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF A MEDICAL ORGANIZATION

Summary:
Introduction. The relevance of the topic is due to the complexity of implementing a quality management system in the healthcare organization of our country. The need to use new educational technologies in the training of medical specialists with experience in practical health care is also urgent to ensure the effectiveness of the acquired managerial skills. The article presents the experience of using modern educational technology-team coaching-in the educational process of mastering knowledge and skills in the field of quality management for the development and implementation of a quality management system in the activities of a multidisciplinary hospital in Moscow. Purpose. To justify the possibility of using the team coaching method for teaching the "Quality Management" cycle and implementing the Quality management system in a medical organization. Materials and methods: monographic, statistical. Results. Methodologically, an approach was applied that is based on the identification and awareness of common problems for the management team of the medical organization - working with the claims of patients and their legal representatives. The analysis showed that more than 90% of requests are related to defects in the organization of medical care. Thus, the vector of work with appeals was aimed at transforming the processes in the activities of the medical organization. The technology has shown its effectiveness: after 10 months, the number of complaints decreased by 28-78% in various departments, more than 20 standard operating procedures (SOPs) and action algorithms were developed and implemented. Discussion and conclusions. The described approach of "learning by action" within the framework of team coaching allows employees to master the necessary competencies in the field of quality management in the workplace in accordance with the Professional Standard of a specialist in the field of health organization and public health. The proposed educational technology should be used in the cycles of advanced training in the programs of additional professional education.
