Summary:
The relevance is due to the fact that at the moment there is a digitalization of all spheres of life. Pharmacy business is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the Russian economy. According to the analytical company DSM, over the past five years the growth rate of the pharmaceutical market in the Russian Federation has averaged 11%, and this despite the economic recession in Russia. The planned volume of the pharmaceutical market should reach 1.4 trillion rubles by 2020.
Objective. To study the problems and ways of solving the issues associated with medicine in a digital economy.
Material and methods: The analysis of the state of pharmacy sales, as well as the analysis of scientific sources on the topic.
Results and conclusions: Theoretical and practical prerequisites for the improvement of Russian pharmacy service activities under conditions of digital economy considered in the article serve as a real proof of the need for active implementation of electronic interaction technologies between different subjects of medical and diagnostic process, consumers of medical and pharmaceutical services, pharmaceutical manufacturers and the pharmacy sphere.
