Summary:
In the world, the primary incidence of oncological diseases is 143 cases per 100 thousand population, and in the Russian Federation this indicator significantly exceeds the global average. The economic damage from cancer for Russia reached more than 90 billion rubles in 2015, and by 2020, according to forecasts, it could increase to 200 billion rubles. Against the background of a decrease in the provision of round-the-clock beds for the population as a whole, the number of cancer beds increased by 14.3% over the period from 2005 to 2017. Purpose: to analyze the bed fund of the oncological service of the Krasnodar Territory. Materials and methods. The data of the form No. 30 of the federal statistical observation "Information about a medical organization" for 2008 and 2019 were used in the work. The paper uses mathematical, bibliographic and statistical methods. Statistical processing of the material included methods of descriptive statistics; calculation of relative (intensive and extensive) indicators. Results. For ten years (2008-2019), with a steady increase in the number of cases and the number of the observed contingent, the volume of the oncological bed fund has not undergone significant dynamics. The bed fund of the oncological profile of the region numbered 1069 beds in 2008: 839 oncological, 230 radiological, 180 hematological. According to the children's oncological service: 20 children's oncological and 70 hematological. In 2008 in the region, the staff of oncologists amounted to 244.25 medical positions, 174 doctors worked for them, the staff of radiologists was 78.5 positions, 46 people worked for them, 39.25 rates of hematologists, 28 doctors work for them. In 2019, the bed fund of the oncological service of the region for the treatment of the adult contingent (oncological+ radiotherapy+ hematology beds) includes round-the-clock beds-1365, day hospital beds (taking into account 11 CAOP) - 176 in 2 shifts. In the medical organizations of the Krasnodar Territory, there are 1195 round – the-clock inpatient beds for the treatment of adult patients with malignant neoplasms (oncological + radiological) and 170-hematological, and 100 beds for children (oncological + hematological). The provision of the population with oncological round-the-clock beds in 2019 was 1.8 per 10,000 population, radiological-0.03 per 10,000 population, hematological-0.3. Conclusion. The increase in the bed stock is due to an annual increase in the number of newly detected cases of malignant neoplasms, as well as an increase in the number of cancer patients. An increase in the provision of oncological beds for the population of the region can be achieved through the construction of a new dispensary in the regional center and large cities of the region. Taking into account the current situation with a moderate shortage of beds, more intensive use of medical organizations providing outpatient care is recommended as an alternative option. As a reserve, boarding houses at dispensaries can be considered, on the basis of which it is possible to organize one-day hospitals for outpatient treatment.
