Introduction: In connection with the increase in life expectancy, the importance of diseases of the ophthalmological profile is increasing. The widespread introduction of modern methods of microsurgical treatment of diseases of the eye and its adnexa, based on the use of complex technologies, determines the high need of the adult population in receiving high-tech types of medical care. The article discusses organizational measures for the introduction and development of high-tech medical care in the field of «ophthalmology» in the Republic of Tatarstan. Purpose: Study and assessment of the organization of the provision of high-tech medical care to the adult population of the Republic of Tatarstan on the profile «ophthalmology». Materials and methods: The analysis of the official forms of statistical reporting of the Republic of Tatarstan and the data of the medical information system of the clinic on the implementation of the volumes and types of high-tech medical care for the period 2016-2020 was carried out. Results and discussion: In 2020 in State Autonomous Health Institution «The Republican Clinical Ophthalmic Hospital of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Professor E.V.Adamyuk» high-tech medical care (hereinafter referred to as HMP) was provided in the amount of 2839 cases, which amounted to 100% of the approved volumes of the planned state task, including 2095 cases completed at the expense of the republican budget, 651 cases of HMP included in the basic program of compulsory health insurance and 93 cases of HMP, carried out at the expense of the federal budget. The indices of the volume of the high-volume work performed in dynamics since 2016 have increased by 70%. High-tech medical care covers various diseases of the ophthalmic profile, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, chorioretinal inflammation, eye and orbit trauma, and others. In the structure of operations within the HMP, by 2020 the share of medical interventions for age-related macular degeneration associated with intravitreal administration of angiogenesis inhibitors has increased. A set of measures was carried out to increase the accessibility of high-tech medical care to residents of the republic and optimize document flow in the interaction between medical organizations of the republic. The implementation of complex measures made it possible in 2021. reduce the queue on the HMP waiting list by an average of 68%. Conclusion: The obtained results of the activity of the ophthalmological service of the republic allow us to conclude about an increase in the volume and expansion of the types of high-tech medical care, taking into account the needs of the population of the republic, the effectiveness of complex measures to increase the availability of high-tech types of ophthalmological care. The organization of interaction between medical organizations that provide ophthalmological care in the region, allows you to reduce the waiting time for high-tech medical care. It is necessary to strengthen work on the coverage of ophthalmological aid to the population of rural areas of the republic, including the provision of high-tech medical care, in connection with which measures have been proposed for the development of high-tech medical care in the region.
