The decrease in the availability and quality of primary health care due to the imperfection of the network of medical organizations, errors in carrying out structural and functional transformations in previous years and personnel problems led to the need to restructure the work of health care institutions, the formation of other approaches to the activities of medical and preventive institutions and assessments of their work. With the preparation and improvement of the qualifications of health care organizers by the teaching staff of the departments "Health Organization and Public Health", the responsibility for improving the effectiveness of information materials increases. The purpose/objectives of the work. The purpose is to analyze the effectiveness of educational materials and the possibility of using distance learning technologies in the preparation and improvement of the qualifications of health care organizers. Material and methods. Topics of lecture materials of the teaching staff of the Department "Organization of Healthcare and Public Health" of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in the preparation and advanced training of health care organizers of the Russian Federation. Analysis of responses and opinions of students of PC courses regarding the assessment of the organization and methodology of the current training system with Analytical, comparative analysis, statistical. Results. Unfavorable medical and demographic trends, an increase in the morbidity of the population, high mortality rates from diseases of the circulatory system, oncological diseases, imperfection of the organization of primary health care put forward new requirements for the training and advanced training of health care organizers in the Russian Federation. The growing responsibility of healthcare professionals to society requires the development of continuity of professional medical education, the need for medical professionals to improve their professional knowledge, skills and abilities throughout their professional activities. Informatization and the introduction of innovative approaches to the learning process have created conditions for conducting training cycles of healthcare organizers using distance learning technologies (DOT). A special responsibility in the preparation and improvement of the qualifications of health care organizers is assigned to the teaching staff of the departments "Health Organization and public Health" in the preparation of health care organizers of the Russian Federation. Discussion. In the conditions of increasing responsibility of health care organizers to society, taking into account their social role in improving the level of public health, in the preparation and advanced training of health care organizers, it is necessary to increase the development of continuity of professional medical education, the use of the huge potential of knowledge of the teaching staff of health care organizers in the field of health care and public health. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused serious socio-economic consequences. Taking into account the State sanitary and epidemiological rationing by Rospotrebnadzor on 30.04.2020, Methodological Recommendations 3.1.0170-20 (as amended by MP 3.1.0175-20 "Amendments No. 1 to MP 3.1.0170-20) on "Epidemiology and prevention of COVID-19" were approved. In accordance with these recommendations, people aged 65 years and older, including working people, should be in home isolation mode. The primary task is to increase the effectiveness of educational materials using various types of educational technologies, including DOT. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, the following conclusions were made: The majority of cadets (75%) - organizers of health cycles of the PC "Health and Public Health Organizations" believe that the DOT system is an adequate substitute for full-time training, 55% of cadets do not agree with the statements that DOT makes the learning process more difficult for its participants, 65% of cadets believe that DOT requires good organization, both in content and in its presentation, and can be used in combination with full-time training.
