The incidence of diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, especially chronic dermatoses, is a significant medical and social problem of society. The aim of the study was analysis of the effectiveness of medical care to patients over working age with diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Material and Methods: When evaluating the results of approbation of new methods of providing medical care to patients older than working age with diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, analytical, statistical methods of research, the method of descriptive statistics were used, extensive and intensive indicators were calculated. The results of the study showed that when implementing organizational measures in a round-the-clock hospital in the main group of patients, the economic effect is due to a decrease in the incidence of relapses of diseases. In the control group of patients, similar costs were higher. In our study, the results were a decrease in the incidence of disease relapses and an increase in the number of patients with complete remission. Discussion. The implementation of organizational measures in the context of an organizational experiment shows their effectiveness, including medical, medico-social and economic efficiency. However, the participation of highly qualified specialists and costly medical technologies, the testing of new treatment methods in the provision of medical care can lead to high financial costs. The results of the study indicate the need to optimize specialized medical care for patients older than working age, taking into account polymorbid pathology and the introduction of online consultations, expanding the practice of day hospital at home. We have established the social maladjustment of some patients with chronic skin diseases, which prevented their full socialization in society. In this regard, it was fundamentally important for us to achieve the medical and social effectiveness of the activities carried out. Conclusion. The results of the implementation of measures to optimize specialized medical care for patients have shown the economic feasibility of including spa treatment for chronic skin diseases. Organizational experiment indicates the need to optimize medical care for patients over working age, taking into account polymorbid pathology.
