Summary:
Aim. This paper analyzes the general situation in which pharmaceutical healthcare workers find themselves in the fight against Covid-19 infections, and provides data on cases of coronavirus infection in Russia. The authors describe the purpose and objectives of pharmaceutical workers in providing pharmaceutical care. This information can be very useful in eliminating the consequences and spread of waves of new infections.
Materials and research methods were works from international and Russian citation databases (43 works), which were selected by keywords.
As a result of the study, it was revealed that an important task of all countries is the desire to protect their nation and make people's health a priority. The important efforts of manufacturers aimed at the development of the vaccine, its distribution, and cooperation with other countries are noted. The creation of infectious diseases hospitals with a pharmaceutical component is described. Conclusion. As a result of the work, it was shown that in order to combat infection, it is necessary to develop new regulatory legal acts, be able to maintain sanitary and epidemiological measures, develop primary health care, inform and educate the population on the use of drugs through pharmaceutical counseling.
