Summary:
Introduction. In modern literature, viability is considered the ability to accurately assess, use and optimize coping skills in order to withstand stressful situations for a successful outcome. To date, no understanding has been formed about the objective criteria for the manifestation of human resilience in general, and in relation to elderly and senile patients in particular. For physical rehabilitation, it is important to be able to recognize your capabilities and understand them, as well as strength when performing physical activity. The purpose To test a comprehensive assessment of cardiovascular-respiratory synchronization (SSDS) for objective differential diagnosis of the resiliece of elderly patients. Material and methods. Patients undergoing respiratory rehabilitation of two age groups were examined: 32 middle-aged patients (45-59 years old) and 33 elderly patients (60-74 years old) according to the WHO classification. In the study, a physical examination was performed using a traditional routine technique using spiroarteriocardiorhythmography (SACR) at rest and when performing functional tests with hypercapnia and moderate physical test. Results. The methodology of a comprehensive assessment of a multicomponent SSDS system, which increases the diagnostic informativeness of SACR in the physiological aspect of the resilience of patients of various age groups with pulmonological pathology. Conclusion. Breathing with a fixed frequency normalizes the regulation of SSDS in both groups of patients (middle-aged and elderly). With moderate physical exertion (up to 70 W), the SSDS indicators in elderly patients statistically significantly differ compared to the group of middle-aged patients, mainly due to the regulation of heart rhythm and blood circulation (p
