Summary:
Actuality: Medical progress covers not only traditional methods of treatment, but also aspects of complementary therapy, which includes phytotherapy, homeopathy, sections of nutritionology. The World Health Organization also focuses on the use of traditional, alternative medicine methods in modern patient rehabilitation protocols. Currently, there is a qualitative transition in medicine and healthcare to rethinking existing approaches in diagnosis and treatment. This is due to the digitalization of society, the formation of a global world economy and culture, which leads to the interpenetration of cultures and medical traditions of different regions. There is an increasing interest in various groups of drugs and historically ancient forms of treatment and prevention, such as fungotherapy - use of medicinal mushrooms. The theory of the resilience diet is in line with modern ideas about healthy, functional aging. In this regard, the study of fungotherapy in the resilience diet is relevant. Objective: To study the possibilities of fungotherapy in multimodal prevention and rehabilitation programs based on a resilience diet. Materials and methods: A total of 36 people were included in the study. The average age of the subjects was 48.7 ± 1.2 years (45-55 years). The study of patients was conducted before the use of fungotherapy and after 3 months. We applied a resilience diet, which included elements of the use of fungotherapy (application of the drug based on Reishi mushrooms - "Golden Reishi"). This approach to nutrition and the use of nutrients was designated by us as fungo-resistance therapy. We studied the psycho-social effects of the therapy (assessment of anxiety on the Spielberg-Hanin scale, depression on the Beck scale, sleep quality on the Sleep Quality Scale (SQS)), self-perception of physical activity on the VAS scale and biochemical indicators (antioxidant activity and the level of immune inflammation). Results: The use of fungotherapy contributes to a positive effect on vitality in the following positions: improving mood; increasing endurance and the degree of recovery after exertion; improving sleep quality; increasing overall energy. Fungo -rresilience therapy reduces the level of oxidative stress and the degree of inflamaging: after the use of fungo-resilience therapy, there was a decrease in inflammatory molecules, an increase in the anti-inflammatory response, an increase in total antioxidant activity, antiradical activity and a decrease in the content of the end products of spontaneous lipid peroxidation, which had a high correlation with the anti-lipid effect of fungotherapy. Conclusions: Fungotherapy, due to its proven effect, is a new and promising direction that can be used in complex treatment, rehabilitation and prevention, including age-associated pathology and in the preparation of complex nutrition programs.
Keywords fungotherapy, resilience diet, the resilience, antioxidant effects, anti-inflammatory effect, inflamaging.
