Summary:
The most active changes in terms of improving measures for the prevention of noncommunicable diseases in the practical health care of the Russian Federation began in 2013 with the introduction of the state program of prophylactic medical examination of certain groups of the adult population into practice. Mass medical examination of the adult population was chosen as a measure to accelerate the current process of reducing the mortality rate of the population of the Russian Federation, the rate of which is still insufficient. The study of the frequency of distribution among the population of key risk factors in dynamics underlying the development of major non-communicable diseases in order to assess the effectiveness of preventive measures implemented as part of the ongoing clinical examination is an urgent scientific direction.
The aim of the study is to study the impact of the activities of the medical prevention service in the Orenburg region on the prevalence of risk factors for the development of non-infectious diseases in the adult population of the region.
Materials and methods. To assess the effectiveness of measures for the prevention of non-communicable diseases among the adult population of the Orenburg region, a correlation analysis was carried out between the indicators of human resources of departments and offices of medical prevention, health centers, indicators of the activities of medical personnel of these structural units and indicators of the prevalence of the main risk factors for the development of noncommunicable diseases, obtained based on the results of a sociological study in dynamics from 2013 to 2019
Results. A statistically significant correlation was established between the indicators of human resources, indicators of the activity of offices and departments of medical prevention, health centers and indicators of the prevalence of such risk factors for non-communicable diseases as low physical activity (r = (-0.91) alcohol consumption (-0.87) , excess salt intake (-0.89) and hyperglycemia (0.84).
Conclusion. According to the results of the analysis for the period under study, the dynamics of the growth of human resources and the main indicators of the activities of specialists in the offices and departments of medical prevention, Health Centers are noted. The discrepancy between the growth rate of human resources of the regional medical prevention service and the growth rate of indicators of the activities of medical prevention units was established. The performed correlation analysis showed that with an increase in the availability of preventive care provided by medical personnel in offices and departments of medical prevention, the prevalence of hypodynamia, alcohol consumption, excessive salt consumption, and the detection of hyperglycemia increase in the population.
Keywords medical prevention, offices and departments of medical prevention, Health Center, risk factors of chronic diseases, the effectiveness of preventive measures.
