Summary:
One of the ways to save resources in health care is the development of DS of different profiles. In the literature, there are very few research works concerning the activities of day hospitals (DS) of dermatological and venereal profiles. Target. The main indicators of the work of day hospitals, including those of dermatological and venereal profiles in the Russian Federation, have been studied, recommendations have been made to improve the use of the bed fund of the DS and UPC. Materials and methods. The following research methods were used: statistical, analytical. Analyzed were the forms of sectoral statistical observation No. 14ds, Federal statistical observation form No. 47 and information from the collection "Morbidity of the entire population of Russia" of the Federal State Budgetary Institution TsNIIOIZ of the Ministry of Health of Russia (2011-2020). Results. The analysis of statistical information showed that the number of patients who completed treatment in the DS during the years of analysis (2009-2018) increased by 44.7%, while in the DS in the structure of medical organizations providing medical care on an outpatient basis (MOAU) , increased by 43.1%, in the DS in the structure of medical organizations providing medical care in inpatient conditions (MOSU) - by 47.4%. At the same time, the number of patients who completed treatment in round-the-clock inpatient hospitals (UPC) decreased by 9.5% and the provision of beds in the UPC decreased by 21.0%. The average duration of treatment of patients in the UPC also decreased from 12.8 to 10.6 days, these indicators can be assessed positively from the standpoint of resource conservation. It should be noted the importance of research work related to specialized DS. In the publications of the last 10 years, there are very few works devoted to the indicators of the activity of DS of dermatological and venereal profiles. The study analyzed the incidence of diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue in the Russian Federation and in the federal districts, depending on the age groups of the population. High rates of morbidity among adolescents (15-17 years old) indicate the need for preventive treatment of this contingent of the population, including in DS. The study of the use of the bed fund of dermatological and venereal profiles in DS on the basis of MOSU and MOAU was carried out. Conclusion. The analysis showed that in the Russian Federation, the number of dermatological hospital beds for the adult population was 5519 (30.6% of the total number of beds of this profile in the SKP and DS based on the MOSU). The number of beds for venereal diseases was 750 (13.6% of the total number of beds for this profile in the UPC and the medical center based on the MOSU). It should be noted that not all subjects of the Russian Federation have FDs of a venereal disease. On the basis of the results of the study, recommendations were given for improving the use of the hospital bed fund, including dermatological and venereal profiles.
Keywords day hospitals (DS), hospital replacing technologies (NWT), a medical organization providing outpatient medical care (MOAU) (polyclinic), a medical organization providing inpatient medical care (MOSU) (hospital), a 24-hour hospital.
