Summary:
Introduction. The study of the level of hospitalized morbidity of the population as a result of acute poisoning and exposure to toxic substances aims to develop adequate toxicological measures to prevent the development of pathological conditions associated with chemical influences. The purpose of the study is to study the level of hospitalization of the population of the city of Omsk as a result of acute poisoning and exposure to toxic substances for 2011-2020. Materials and methods. The data used were obtained from the summary accounting documentation of the department of acute poisoning, mathematical processing of the material was carried out in recalculation per 100 thousand of the corresponding population. In the statistical processing of the material, traditional methods of calculating extensive and intensive indicators, the average error of the indicator, the reliability of the differences in the indicator according to the Student's t-criterion were used. Results and their discussion. For the period from 2011 to 2020, a wave-like dynamics of the level of hospitalized morbidity of the population as a result of acute poisoning and exposure to toxic substances is recorded in the city of Omsk. The maximum value is registered in 2013, the minimum level of morbidity is recorded in 2018. During the entire follow-up period, the level of hospitalization as a result of acute poisoning and toxic effects among men was significantly higher than the same indicator among the female population by an average of 3.8 times, which indicates a gender risk factor for the occurrence of a pathological condition. During the study period, the toxicological situation in the city of Omsk significantly changed, manifested by a significant increase in the number of psychodisleptic poisoning, while a statistically significant decrease in the level of hospitalized morbidity of the population as a result of alcoholic, medicinal, narcotic toxic effects, poisoning with corrosive poisons, pesticides and non-fertilized poisons. this fact indicates a decrease in the effects of traditional groups of toxicants and the dominant use of "new" toxic substances among the population. Conclusion. Information on the dynamics of the level of hospitalized morbidity of the population as a result of acute poisoning and exposure to toxic substances in the city of Omsk for the period from 2011 to 2020 allows us to determine the guidelines of organizational measures in the context of providing medical care to victims of this pathology, as well as the directions of preventive work in the field of chemical safety of the population in the future.
