Introduction. One of the main tasks of modern healthcare is the adaptation and restructuring of the system of organization of medical care to the changing needs of the population, including dental care. The problem of studying the factors affecting the availability of dental care from the standpoint of its organizational component remains relevant, namely: staffing and provision of the population with dental personnel and their qualifications, material and technical equipment of medical organizations, etc. Purpose of the investigation. To evaluate the organizational components of availability of medical care for dental pathologies to the rural population of the Ryazan region. Materials and methods. The study involved the use of statistical and analytical methods. The data of the Federal State Statistics Service and the reporting forms of the federal statistical observation are used as an information base. Results and discussion. The shortage of resources for dental medical organizations, including the disproportion in the provision of dental personnel for the population of cities and countryside, low material and technical base, differences in the structure of visits to dentists by categories of urban and rural population, the absence of a mobile dental office organized as a structural subdivision of the dental department of a medical organization, they reduce the availability of medical care for dental pathologies for the rural population of the Ryazan region. Conclusion. The processes of restructuring and optimization of the network of dental medical organizations have affected the availability of medical care for dental pathologies for the population living in rural areas. The development of mobile forms of medical care lags behind the needs of the population and requires an increase of its effectiveness.
