Summary:
Remote monitoring of various diseases in children, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, is a tool for improving the quality of medical care and the availability of specialized medical care. The trend in the development of telemedicine services can be seen throughout the world, including in the Russian Federation. However, the special features of tele-medical observation of children with various diseases require special study. The purpose of our research was to develop a method for determining the order and duration of remote consultations in children with infantile hemangiomes. The study includes 710 patients with infantile hemangiomas observed under the conditions of Children's city polyclinic No.125, Moscow «stop-haemangioma.online» after a physical examination and a form of informed voluntary consent. The monitoring was carried out through the evaluation of completed observation diaries and parents' photo reports. Depending on the localization and size of the infantile hemangioma, all children with infantile hemangioma were divided into 2 groups: 1 group - patients with high risk of growth of infantile hemangioma and 2 group - low risk. As a result of the study, growth of infantile hemangioma was more frequent in children of 1 group. A remote monitoring algorithm for these groups is proposed, which determines the order and time of filling of diaries and photo report - children of 1 group were observed once a week regardless of age, children of 2 group - once in 2 weeks. Conclusion. This algorithm makes it possible to identify a group at risk and to approach the frequency of remote observation and the need to examine children with infantile hemangiomas in person. A peculiarity of the algorithm for remote observation of children with IR is its patient orientation.
