Introduction. The current state of medical care for patients with peripheral artery diseases indicates systemic problems, which requires clarification, finding ways to eliminate them, creating conditions for systematic timely monitoring of patients. Purpose. Based on the analysis of the medical and statistical characteristics of patients who received specialized medical care for peripheral artery diseases, to identify the shortcomings of the continuity of the organization of medical care at all stages. Material and methods. According to the primary medical documentation, the conditions for providing medical care to 720 patients with peripheral artery diseases in three hospitals in St. Petersburg in 2020 were evaluated. The sample by gender and age corresponds to the general structure of hospital patients with this disease. The data were statistically processed with the calculation of average values, extensive indicators, and the assessment of the reliability of their difference according to the Student's criterion. Results. Only 53.8% of patients were previously observed in the polyclinic. The majority (79.3%) were hospitalized in general surgical departments. Only in 77.8% of cases the clinical diagnosis coincided with the diagnosis at admission.
