Introduction. Negative tendencies have formed in the health status of children: the progression of school-related pathology, a high prevalence of risky forms of behavior. Health and education are organically linked. An important element of the health care system for minors is the work of medical offices in educational institutions. Purpose - assess the system of organizing medical support for children and adolescents during the period of study and to form organizational and methodological approaches for its improvement. Materials and methods. A descriptive study was carried out on the basis of an audit of the quality of medical care for minors and a sociological survey of students, parents and teachers in 10 schools and 5 colleges of the Sverdlovsk region in 2016-2019. Results. The general problems that determine the insufficient quality of medical care for students are identified: a shortage of personnel and low qualifications of employees, which are more pronounced in colleges. There are no unified approaches to the activities of medical workers and there is no continuity in working with primary care physicians, including the exchange of data in digital format. Discussion. Based on the results of the audit, at the first stage, the Organizational Standards for the work of medical staff of educational organizations, including standard operating procedures (SOP), were developed and implemented into practice. At the second stage, a regulatory framework was prepared for the inclusion of medical offices of schools in the Unified digital health care circuit of the region. A regional center for the protection of the health of children and adolescents has been created with the aim of organizing methodological support for the activities of medical workers of educational organizations. Conclusion. The developed and implemented measures based on the results of the audit will improve the quality of medical care for students, the productivity of medical workers, which in the long term will have a positive impact on the health of the younger generation.
