Summary:
Introduction. Visual signs of facial skin aging, especially in women, significantly affect their social and psychological well-being, adaptation in society and quality of life. In this regard, the problem of correcting age-associated changes in the skin of the face, restoring and maintaining its aesthetic health is relevant. Optimization of the effects on the body of methods of cosmetic correction of age-related changes in the skin, increasing their safety and effectiveness is an important scientific and practical task. Purpose of the study. Development of models for evaluating the effectiveness of a cosmetic method for rejuvenating senescent facial skin based on histological factors. Material and research methods. The object of the study was women with signs of age-related skin changes in the age range of 39–59 years (mean age 44 years). Skin rejuvenation methods: intramuscular injections of human placenta hydrolyzate (n = 24); laser exposure (n=20) and combined exposure (n=23). The inputs to the model were histological factors assessed in patients before rejuvenation procedures (IL-1 alfa, IL-8, IL-20, Laminin, Filaggrin, FGF, EGF, Collagen l, Collagen lll, VEGF, Caspase 8). The modeling method is the construction of classification trees. Results and its discussion. Criteria for the clinical effectiveness of skin rejuvenation were determined: changes in the depth of wrinkles of the upper eyelid, lower eyelid, changes in the depth of wrinkles of the upper lip, changes in skin moisture. An integral indicator of efficiency has been developed, which is a simple arithmetic average of increments taken modulo according to the listed four criteria. Using the method of constructing classification trees, three efficiency models were constructed corresponding to three methods of influence. The output from the model is different efficiency (reduced, medium, high) according to the value of the integral indicator of efficiency. The practical significance of the developed models lies in the fact that, based on the value of histological and immunological factors determined before treatment, it is possible with a high probability to predict the patient's belonging to one of the groups according to the degree of the integral efficiency indicator, which allows choosing the most effective and safe tactics of the cosmetic method of rejuvenation of the senescent facial skin. An assessment of the quality of models based on the assessment of classification errors is also given. Conclusions. Based on the patient's data on histological factors before the start of skin rejuvenation activities and the developed models, it is possible to predict the expected effectiveness with a high probability and choose the best treatment method for the patient. All models are of high quality and can be recommended for practical use.
