Summary:
Relevance. According to statistics on the territory of the Russian Federation, about 40% of the population have signs of mental health disorders, of which about 5% need professional psychiatric care. Therefore, it remains important to conduct a statistical analysis of the incidence of mental disorders aimed at finding ways to reduce the incidence of these pathologies. Purepose. To carry out a statistical analysis of the indicators of general and primary morbidity of mental disorders in the territory of the Russian Federation and to make an estimated forecast of the morbidity of the population for 2021-2022. Materials and methods. The analysis of the general and primary incidence of mental disorders was carried out on the basis of data from the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMIIS) and the Ministry of Health of Russia. The paper uses theoretical (structural, logical, comparative) and statistical (variational, tabular, series of dynamics) research methods. Results and discussion. The overall incidence of mental disorders in the Russian Federation over the past 10 years (2011-2020) has decreased by an average of 1.1% across the country. At the same time, an increase in the overall incidence of mental disorders over the analyzed period was noted in two federal districts: the North-Western and Far Eastern. In 2018-2019, an increase in primary morbidity was recorded in all federal districts. In 2020, there is a decrease in the number of patients with a diagnosis for the first time in their lives, one of the reasons for which may be the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, it was found that the overall incidence of mental disorders in the Russian Federation tends to decrease. Despite this, the state of mental health of the population remains the most important medical and social problem. Therefore, conducting statistical research and analysis of the incidence of mental disorders among all population groups allows not only to make a forecast of morbidity in the future, but also to determine the main directions of activities to reduce the incidence of these disorders.
Keywords mental disorders, general morbidity, primary morbidity, regional differences.
