STUDY OF STAFFING OF MEDICAL ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE TO THE POPULATION OF THE VORONEZH REGION IN DISEASES OF THE CIRCULATION SYSTEM

Summary:
Introduction. Diseases of the circulatory system remain one of the most acute medical and social problems, which place a high burden on health care in the Russian Federation, including in the Voronezh region. This makes it necessary to develop human resources and human resources competences as key factors in promoting health, accessibility and quality of health care for the population. For the period up to 2025, within the framework of the implementation of the federal project «Provision of qualified personnel to health-care organizations» the Russian health-care system has a number of strategically important tasks to accomplish: To increase the level of availability of qualified specialists and to improve the training of personnel. The shortage or uneven geographical distribution of specialists at the level of entities involved in the provision of medical care to patients suffering from circulatory diseases requires scientific research in order to achieve national goals.
Purpose of the investigation. To assess the staffing of medical organizations providing medical care to the population with diseases of the circulatory system in the Voronezh region.
Materials and methods. The article uses analytical and statistical research methods.
Results and discussion. The results of the study showed that in 2019, in the structure of medical positions providing medical care to the population with diseases of the circulatory system in the Voronezh region, the largest share is made up of physicians - 38.5%, general practitioners - 27.7%, neurologists - 21.9 % and cardiologists - 11.9%. 2010-2019 there is an increase in the number of cardiologists by 7%, while in rural areas there are single specialists - cardiologists or none at all. During the analyzed period, there was also a decrease in the number of general practitioners by 33.9% and a decrease in the number of general practitioners by 12.5%.
Conclusion. In the Voronezh region, in order to provide affordable and high-quality medical care to the population with diseases of the circulatory system, it is necessary to increase both the number of primary care physicians (therapists, general practitioners) and narrow specialists - cardiologists, neurologists, as well as to increase the efficiency of measures to create conditions for consolidating and attracting these specialists in the region and, as a result, increasing the efficiency of servicing patients diagnosed with diseases of the circulatory system from the attached areas.
