ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL OF MEDICAL CARE FOR POSTCOID SYNDROME

Summary:
Relevance. Postcoid syndrome has not been sufficiently studied, so there is not enough information about it in the literature. It is characterized by the presence of symptoms and/or signs of damage to various organ systems that develop during or after a previous COVID-19 infection, persist for more than 12 weeks and cannot be explained by an alternative diagnosis [1].
Goal: To study a new organizational model for the provision of medical care to patients with postcoid syndrome in a rehabilitation center.
Materials and methods. The article uses content analysis methods, analytical, SWOT analysis.
Results and discussion. The opening and functioning of a rehabilitation center for the treatment of patients with post-covid health disorders and COVID-associated autoimmune diseases contributes to the accumulation of unique clinical experience and the development of new methods and means of treating and preventing post-covid disorders, receiving high-quality medical care by patients taking into account the etiology and pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases of viral genesis.
Conclusions. Currently, the search for new organizational models of medical care for patients with postcoid syndrome continues to be relevant. The article presents the experience of the first rehabilitation center for the provision of medical care to patients with postcoid syndrome in St. Petersburg.
