Summary:
Introduction. Inhalation therapy is the most important component in the complex treatment of diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract. Inhalation therapy is most often used in diseases accompanied by bronchial obstruction (obstructive bronchitis, bronchial asthma), rhinosinusitis of various etiologies (infectious, allergic), chronic lung diseases. The advantages of inhaled administration of drugs include ease of use, the effectiveness of small doses, rapid response to the drug as a result of rapid absorption, penetration of the necessary drug to the most remote areas of the respiratory system, the possibility of introducing gaseous and volatile substances, the possibility of creating a high concentration of drugs in the respiratory tract with a small total amount of the drug supplied. Currently, inhalation therapy can be carried out with the help of inhalers (nebulizers) that generate aerosol in the form of mist, with the help of dosing aerosol inhalers (DAI) and with the help of powder dosing inhalers (PDI or PI). The purpose of the work was to analyze the market of medical equipment for the creation of aerosols of medicines in the Russian Federation. Materials and methods. The study was conducted using the method of content analysis of the medical equipment market by indicators: types of inhalers (nebulizers), number of models, manufacturers, countries of manufacturers, principle of operation, technology used and its main advantages, applicability of medicines and restrictions for use, medical application, technical characteristics, equipment. The objects of the study were product catalogs of official online stores of manufacturers "Omron", "AND", "B.Well", "Little Doctor", "Med 2000", "Microlife", instructions for operation of inhalers (nebulizers). As a result of the study, it was found that inhalers (nebulizers) of various types are used to generate aerosols of medicines: compressor, ultrasonic, electron-mesh and steam. The range of inhalers (nebulizers) is represented by 6 manufacturers: "Omron" (Japan), "AND" (Japan), "B.Well" (Switzerland), "Little Doctor" (Singapore), "Med 2000" (Italy), "Microlife" (Italy). These manufacturers produce 58 models of inhalers (nebulizers), the largest share in the number of models is occupied by the manufacturer "Med 2000". Among the manufacturing countries, Italy occupies the largest weight in terms of the number of models of inhalers (nebulizers) (22 models), which is 38% of the total number of models of inhalers (nebulizers). Compressor inhalers predominate in the Russian Federation market in terms of the number of models (44 models), which is 76% of the total number of all models of inhalers (nebulizers). At the conclusion of the work, it was shown that the conducted research on the market of medical equipment used to create aerosols of medicines is of practical interest for pharmaceutical manufacturers who are engaged in the production of medicines, which are subsequently sprayed with the help of medical equipment.
