Summary:
Actuality: cognitive functioning has been of interest to scientists since ancient times. There is a lot of data revealing the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disorders, but research is still underway to find effective nootropic therapy and prevent the development of cognitive deficits. Cognitive dysfunction reduces professional productivity and, in general, affects the spheres of everyday and social functioning. Cognitive impairment is associated with poor overall functional outcome and, therefore, is an important characteristic of the disease for optimizing professional and academic results of patients, which leads to the search for new ways of correction and prevention. Purpose: to study the possibilities of the IPH GAA. Materials and methods: we have studied the effects on the molecular-genetic, biochemical and clinical levels of the IPH GAA peptide. We used German peptides IPH GAA, which have all the approvals and permits for the world markets, such as: WADA certificate (anti-doping), MAFFA certificate (safety), ORGANIC certificate, HALAL certificate, patent protection: patent in the United States - Patent Application Publicatin (United States, No.:US2021/052534A1, date: Feb.25,2021), patent in the European Union No. 016704471, patent in the Russian Federation No. 645608, patent in the People's Republic of China No. 30507522. The effectiveness of the use of the IPH GAA peptide was evaluated in the long term (for 1 year). Results: the use of the IPH GAA peptide significantly reduces neuroinflammation in patients with moderate neurodegenerative disorders by 82.3% in the short term, contributes to slowing the progression of neurodegenerative disorders by 2.1 times, which confirms the high antioxidant and immune function of the IPH GAA peptide in relation to the brain in the long term. Clinically, the use of the IPH GAA peptide can favorably affect cognitive functioning, which was expressed in a decrease in the severity of dizziness by 37.8%, difficulty concentrating by 38.9%, increased attention by 24.5% and improved reaction by 27.8%, a decrease in the severity of cognitive deficit by 68.7% and an improvement in sleep parameters by 44.3% in the long term (1 year). Conclusions: the use of the IPH GAA peptide has oncoprotective and cytoprotective effects, and is clinically capable of favorably influencing cognitive functioning.
Keywords peptide complexes, brain, cognitive status, cognitive deficit, neuroprotection, neurodegenerative diseases.
