Introduction. Organizational aspects of the practical use of medicines in cosmetology are relevant and are primarily due to the fact that most of the information about cosmetic injections in general is informal. It comes to cosmetologists from the mouths of speakers at conferences, seminars, training centers and does not always correspond to the parameters specified in the instructions of the product used. Purpose: to study the main organizational aspects of the use of medicines to patients of cosmetology clinics. Materials and methods. The main research base is the Beauty and Health Clinic "New Life LLC" (Samara), which has been operating since 2007. The analysis of the experience of the Clinic and a review of regulatory documents and scientific literature on the problems of the organization of the use of medicines to patients in the provision of medical care in the profile "Cosmetology". The analytical method and the content analysis method were used. Results and discussion. The main medicines used in the practice of cosmetology clinics are preparations of botulinum toxin A. Often, the price list of cosmetology clinics may consist of a random set of services and a limited number of medicines, compiled solely due to the persistence of product suppliers. The main reason for adherence to one product is the incorrect use of instructions for the use of drugs. In 2022, seven botulinum toxin type A drugs were registered in the State Register of Medicines, but there is no official information about their interchangeability in the provision of aesthetic services. Each drug has its own list of indications and contraindications, respectively, their use should take into account the manufacturer's instructions. Conclusions. When carrying out measures for internal control of the quality and safety of medical care, the chief doctors of cosmetology clinics should take into account the accuracy of prescribing the drugs used, and not only the indications, but the dose and place of administration, while relying on official information published in the State Register of Medicines. Cosmetology as a medical specialty was born in Russia, but for a long time it was fed by the products of other countries that reacted faster to the need of the population to improve their appearance. At the same time, recently there is more and more information about high-quality Russian cosmetic products.
