Summary:
Introduction (relevance). The role of specific disease prevention in the Russian Federation is one of the priorities of the state health policy. The purpose of the study is to аssess the activity of parents in relation to the vaccination of children and develop vectors for influencing them. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of GAUZ DGKP No. 8 named after. Alexander Nevsky, Chelyabinsk in 2022. The object of the study were 416 legal representatives of children under 14 years 11 months 29 days old and statistical forms ("Card of preventive vaccinations" - form No. 063 / y and "Information on preventive vaccinations" - reporting form No. 5) in Chelyabinsk. In this article, the concepts of "parent", "legal representative", "guardian" are recognized as equivalent. The sociological study was of the nature of an irrevocable sample and was carried out taking into account an error-free forecast p = 0.95 or more with a confidence criterion value of 2.0, which makes it possible to extend the results obtained to the entire general population. Methods used: analytical, sociological, mathematical-statistical, graphic. Results. In Chelyabinsk, vaccination coverage for whooping cough, measles, and mumps does not reach the average for the Russian Federation, and differences in vaccination coverage between Chelyabinsk and the Chelyabinsk region are insignificant. Vaccination coverage in 2021 is below 95% for measles, mumps, whooping cough, rubella and pneumococcal disease. But a positive trend was revealed in vaccination against all infections included in the national calendar of preventive vaccinations, with the exception of vaccination against tuberculosis. The effectiveness of vaccination as a measure for the prevention of infectious diseases is estimated at an average of 7.7 points, this result can be characterized as neutral. Most of all, information is received, it is more convenient to receive it and decisions are made based on information from medical workers and using the Internet, in view of this, the optimal combination of conveying information to the parents of children may be a combination of recommendations from medical workers broadcast using the Internet. An insufficient level of awareness of parents about the vaccination of their children, within the framework of the national calendar of preventive vaccinations, was determined. With regard to vaccination planned to be included in the national immunization schedule, it was found that on average about a quarter of the respondents would vaccinate their children and about a third of the respondents knew about the existence of the presented vaccines. The leading subjective reason for not getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is lack of knowledge about vaccine research and fear of health consequences after vaccination. Conclusion. The main vector of activity to convince parents of their consent to vaccinate their children should be directed to providing clarifications with the help of medical workers, as well as using the Internet. Educational activities about vaccines should contain information about its components, the results of studies on its use and safety, especially about Russian-made vaccines. To motivate parents to vaccinate their children, it is necessary to talk about the dangers of preventable diseases and their consequences for children's health. When introducing the vaccines planned in the national calendar of preventive vaccinations, it is necessary to take into account the experience of introducing the vaccine against COVID-19 into circulation.
Keywords vaccination, parental loyalty, specific prevention, adherence.
