Introduction. Physical examination of patients is important in modern medicine. Simulation-based medical education is the optimal methodological approach for teaching cardiac auscultation. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, university students were transferred to distance learning. In this regard, the teaching methods of higher medical institutions have undergone significant changes. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the use of the electronic platform LECTURIO in mastering the method of examination of a patient with cardiovascular diseases by students of the medical institute. Materials and methods. The study included 174 students of the 6th year of the medical institute. All students were randomly divided into 2 groups by the method of envelopes. The students of group I (n=80), in addition to the previously acquired knowledge and skills included in the curriculum, had the opportunity to use the online educational platform LECTURIO MEDICAL EDUCATION for 2 weeks.
