The level of morbidity in the pediatric population is one of the main indicators of public health, determining the need for preventive measures, taking into account modern aspects of the epidemiological process. The emergence and rapid spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection required, first of all, the adoption of organizational decisions on the provision of medical care to the child population in emergency and planned form, taking into account the course of the disease. To analyze the morbidity of children and the organization of medical care during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Udmurt Republic. Material and methods. The analysis of coronavirus infection morbidity among the child population of the Udmurt Republic in the period 2020-2022 was carried out. Organizational measures for routing children in medical organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic were studied. The material of the study was the data from the FSN form No. 14 on the provision of medical care to children in inpatient settings of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital of the Udmurt Republic. Statistical and analytical methods of research were applied using Statistika 10 program. Results and its discussion. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health of the Udmurt Republic has carried out re-profiling of state medical organizations to provide medical care to the population in emergency and planned form, taking into account the morbidity of adult and child population, which allowed to achieve recovery of all children who fell ill with the new coronavirus infection COVID-19. It has been established that during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic there was an increase in general and primary morbidity in children. Depending on the severity of the course of the disease, including against the background of somatic pathology, the organization of medical care for children who fell ill with the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 was provided in outpatient and inpatient settings. During the beginning of the pandemic (2020), medical care for children was more often provided in inpatient settings, after which outpatient treatment prevailed. Children with COVID-19 coronavirus infection received inpatient medical care mainly in level III medical organizations. A favorable outcome of the disease in children with COVID-19 coronavirus infection was facilitated by timely and correct organization of measures on hospital reprofiling, change of patient routing, as well as medical care taking into account clinical recommendations. Conclusion. Timely and correct organization of measures on hospital re-profiling, changes in routing, and medical care in accordance with clinical recommendations make it possible to achieve a favorable outcome of the disease in all children with COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
