Summary:
An analysis of the age range of the medical staff is essential for adequate planning of human resources in the health care system. The aim of the study was to analyze the age range of medical personnel of constituent entities, federal districts and in general in the Russian Federation for 2015-2020. Materials and methods. A study of the age range of doctors was carried out on the basis of data from the forms of the Federal Tax Service No. 30 "Information on a medical organization" (FSN No. 30) for the period from 2015 to 2020 A comparative analysis of data of constituent entities, federal districts and the Russian Federation was carried out. The study used comparative analysis, mathematical-statistical and analytical methods. Results and discussion. In the Russian Federation, the provision of medical personnel in 2020 amounted to 37.6 doctors per 10,000 population and differed significantly in the context of federal districts. For the period 2015-2020 there was an increase in the number of medical personnel by 13681 (2.5%) people, an increase in the proportion of doctors under the age of 36 (the growth rate was + 5.9%), a decrease in the proportion of doctors aged over 56 years old (growth rate was - 2.7), which indicates the influx of young professionals into the industry. However, in 16 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, negative trends have been established due to a decrease in the proportion of young specialists and an increase in the proportion of doctors over the age of 56. The established unfavorable trends indicate the need to take urgent measures to attract and retain young professionals (university graduates) in medical organizations in the territories. Conclusions. To assess the personnel situation and predict it in the medium term, it is necessary to analyze the age range of doctors, which can be an indicator of the effectiveness of the ongoing personnel policy, both at the level of the municipality or the region, and in the Russian Federation in general.
Keywords availability of doctors, age range of doctors, personnel policy, personnel shortage, personnel imbalance.
