Summary:
Introduction. The health of the younger generation is the main vector of state policy and an indicator of its implementation [1]. The article is devoted to the issues of health protection of modern student youth. An analysis of the students' lifestyle was carried out, and issues of the formation of value orientations in relation to a healthy lifestyle were considered. The goal of the work was to develop and implement a system of health-saving measures aimed at developing positive hygienic behavior among students of higher educational institutions.
Materials and methods. As part of the study, 1820 students from four universities in Ufa were surveyed (using questionnaires developed by us).
Monitoring of morbidity among university students was carried out based on application data and the results of medical examinations over a five-year period.
An assessment of the anthropometric parameters of the physical development of university students was made.
Results. When analyzing the lifestyle of students, it was found that the lifestyle of modern students does not meet hygienic requirements for a number of parameters (nutrition, physical activity, organization of daily routine, etc.). It has been established that significant time losses occur due to being on social networks (average time on weekdays - 4.8±0.14 hours, on weekends - 4.9±0.31 hours). The duration of night sleep is only 6.4±0.22 hours (average time on weekdays). When assessing students' attitudes towards smoking, it was found that 13.1% of students are susceptible to this addiction.
When assessing the incidence of students, an increase in the overall incidence rate was found to be 22.1%, as well as an increase in the primary incidence rate by 24.2%.
We have developed standards for the physical development of students in the Republic of Bashkortostan (in the age category of 17-22 years). A tendency towards asthenization of modern students at universities in the Republic of Belarus has been established.
Discussion. The results of the study indicate the need to organize preventive activities aimed at preserving the health of university students.
Conclusion. The authors of the article have developed a system of health-saving measures aimed at creating a healthy lifestyle among university students. A digital information system for monitoring students’ health indicators and their lifestyle has been created. The system includes a utility model, four databases, three computer programs (registered with FIPS).
