Summary:
Introduction (relevance). In the modern world, when medical science and practice are developing at an unprecedented pace, the issues of ethics and deontology in medicine are becoming especially relevant. They affect not only the moral aspects of interaction between a doctor and a patient, but also a wide range of problems related to decision-making in conditions of limited resources, confidentiality and patients' rights. These issues directly affect the quality of medical care, making them an integral part of the professional activities of specialists.
Target. The aim is to study and analyze the impact of ethics and deontology on improving the quality of medical activity, identify existing problems in this area and propose ways and solutions to solve them.
Materials and methods. The work used normative documents, including laws and regulations concerning ethical principles in medicine. The study focused on the analysis of how ethics and deontology issues are reflected in regulatory documents regulating the organization of internal quality control and safety of medical activities in medical institutions. The sociological method (questionnaire) helped to identify points of view on ethical issues and to find out the level of awareness and understanding of ethical principles among the study participants. The analysis of regulatory documents, the survey and the synthesis of the results became the basis for the development of specific recommendations and conclusions to improve compliance with ethics and deontology in medical practice.
Results. The paper considers the importance of ethical principles and norms of professional behavior in medicine, as well as their impact on the interaction of medical personnel with patients and other health care participants. Special attention is paid to the identification of key problems associated with non-compliance with ethical standards in medical practice and the proposal of specific measures to eliminate them. Based on the analysis, practical recommendations and solutions are proposed for the effective integration of ethics and deontology into medical practice in order to improve the quality of medical care and ensure better interaction between medical professionals and patients.
Conclusion. Compliance with ethical principles and deontology plays an important role in improving the quality of medical activities. Problems related to ethical violations require proactive measures such as staff training, compliance monitoring, development of codes of conduct and patient involvement in decision-making. The implementation of these measures will help to improve cooperation in the medical field and improve the quality of care provided.
