EXPERT ASSESSMENT OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE HEALTH OF WOMEN LIVING IN AN INDUSTRIALLY DEVELOPED REGION

Summary:
Relevance. The method of expert assessments makes it possible to clarify the structure and specify the factors affecting the health of women living in an industrially developed region. Based on the experience of highly qualified expert specialists, analyzing and solving complex multifactorial problems, this method is the most relevant in the context of social and economic transformations.
The purpose of the study: to identify the most promising and effective ways to prevent diseases of the reproductive sphere in women of fertile age who work in industrial enterprises.
Materials and methods. A survey was conducted of 99 expert specialists with work experience in the specialties "obstetrics and gynecology", "health organization and public health", who have more than 3 years of work experience. The method of expert assessments and confidence intervals was used.
Results. By the method of expert assessments, the most significant measures were identified: conducting additional in-depth surveys of women of fertile age who do not have children and work in harmful working conditions (8.63 points (95%CI 8.20-9.06), developing regional programs to support women of fertile age living in an industrially developed region, including the provision of medicines drugs for the prevention of congenital malformations of the fetus (8.54 points (95%CI 8.13 – 8.94)) and the introduction of regional preventive programs to promote the health of women of fertile age working in industries with harmful factors, including traditional and specific methods of prevention (8.43 points (95%CI 8.00-8.87), respectively).
Conclusions. In order to preserve and strengthen the health of women of fertile age, it is necessary to develop and implement regional preventive programs with the active participation of enterprise administrations, shift the emphasis in preventive work from clinics directly to workplaces, which will also contribute to the prevention of occupational diseases in women working in industrial production.
