There is an obvious need for a clear regulation of the functional duties of a doctor and a nurse in the specialty "Cosmetology", which will take into account the level of education, skills and, consequently, the degree of responsibility for the final result. The purpose of this work was to analyze the regulatory framework governing the provision of cosmetic care in Russia. Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, using the analytical method and the method of content analysis, the current state of the regulatory legal framework was studied, which allows to identify the main trends in the organization of medical services in the specialty of "Cosmetology. Results and discussion. Expanding the range of responsibilities and powers of nurses requires improving the quality of education, the degree of responsibility for care, strengthening control, evaluation of nursing staff. Сonclusion. To solve these problems and problems associated with the implementation of the orders issued, it is necessary to develop a clear model of professional activity of a nurse in cosmetology with detailed labor functions.
