The purpose of the study is to study the prevalence of anxiety among hospital doctors and nurses in the setting of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Methods of research: sociological (questionnaire survey), statistical, analytical. Results: According to the results of a survey of medical workers of the acute psychotic department using the scale of depression, anxiety and stress-21 (DASS-21), the prevalence of these disorders was 3 times higher than among representatives of non-medical professions. Conclusions: Due to the high prevalence of psychological problems, it is necessary to organize activities aimed at preventing the development of depression, anxiety and stress in medical workers providing assistance in the context of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
