OPINION OF DISTRICT PEDIATRICIANS AND HEADS OF MEDICAL ORGANIZATIONS ON THE CREATION OF AN ELECTRONIC RESOURCE FOR THE FORMATION OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE OF SCHOOLCHILDREN

Summary:
Introduction. The organization of medical prevention in general education institutions is implemented through the interaction of the health system with the school administration through organizational measures. The organization of medical prevention in secondary schools is of particular importance due to the possibility of conducting not only individual conversations, but also events at the group and population levels. Purpose. To determine the most optimal directions and ways to improve the organization of primary medical prevention for schoolchildren and to develop an action plan to increase the availability of primary medical prevention for this category of the population. Materials and methods. Sociological surveys were conducted of 58 managers (chief doctors and their deputies) and 325 district pediatricians in medical organizations that provide medical care to the children's population at the outpatient level. Results. 55.2% of managers believe that there is currently a need to optimize preventive work with school-age children. The majority (82.8%) of respondents believe that it is advisable to involve school teachers in the process of forming a healthy lifestyle of children studying at school, 67.2% of the surveyed managers consider it appropriate to develop an electronic library containing information materials of a preventive orientation for teachers of secondary educational organizations who participate in the process of forming a healthy lifestyle of school-age children. 63.7% of the doctors surveyed consider it appropriate to conduct activities with schoolchildren to promote a healthy lifestyle; 61.3% of respondents consider it appropriate to conduct training activities with teachers of secondary schools. More than half (59.6%) of the doctors surveyed consider it appropriate for students to receive information about a healthy lifestyle from teachers of secondary schools. Discussions. Based on the results of the analysis of the conducted sociological surveys, methods of improving the organization of primary medical prevention for schoolchildren were developed and information materials were developed for carrying out activities to improve the competence of school teachers. Conclusion. Thus, according to 67.4% of the district pediatricians surveyed, preventive work with school-age children increases the level of health of the child population, 63.7% of doctors consider it appropriate to conduct activities with schoolchildren, where they teach the basic sanitary skills necessary for life, optimal physical and psychological loads. More than half (55.2%) of managers believe that there is a need to optimize preventive work with schoolchildren, 82.8% of managers expressed the opinion that it is advisable to involve teachers in the process of forming a healthy lifestyle for schoolchildren.
