Narcological aid in the Kostroma region turns into 24 territorial entities and OGBUZ, which is built in accordance with the Programme of counteracting drug addiction and alcoholism with interdisciplinary interactions among interested agencies. Despite the growing availability of doctors-narkologist showing trends over the past 8 years at 126.3%, staffing, which tend to increase from 2007 to 2011 year, has deteriorated in recent years to 22.7%, which affected the growth of part-time factor in 1.5 times. The main sources of funding are: regional budget, paid services, which do not fully cover the costs required for the full provision of drug treatment.
