Conduction. Priority direction in healthcare of the Russian Federation is the establishment of the risk factors assisting occurrence not infectious and motivation of the population to conducting of a healthy way of life. High levels of deseases and death rate from not infectious directly are connected with the irrational attitude of the population to the health. Therefore, it is necessary to generate the personal responsibility of our citizens for the health, which means visiting medical institutions with preventive objective and conducting a healthy way of life. Goal. Revealing a determinant assisting increase of the personal responsibility for the health at able-bodied population of the Astrakhan area of health visiting the centers. Materials and methods. The method of sociological interrogation by individual questioning, under the developed questionnaire which included various sets of questions was used: socially demographic character, value judgment of a condition of the health, describing a way of life, knowledge and satisfaction. The questionnaire was structured and assumed various versions of questions and answers. 186 respondents of an active working age have taken part in questioning. The results of carried out research have shown, that the center of health is visited is more often by women (60,8%), middle age among all respondents has made 37,49±11,97 years. Working citizens (71,0%), with a high level of erudition (78,0%), city dwellers (79,0%) prevailed. To healthy and practically healthy have carried itself of 83,3%, have estimated the of health as good and satisfactory 94,6%. Less often than an once in a year addressed for medical aid of 40,9%, absence of a chronic pathology was noted with 54,8%. Almost half of respondents have learned about the center of health from familiar (47,9%), from the doctor of 12,4%, from mass-media of 5,4%. Completely informed on preventive activity of the center of health was 37,1%. Overwhelming majority have remained are satisfied by the visiting (95,7%) and have agreed to carry out the received recommendations (99,0%). Discussion. One of controlling factors on formation of personal motivation for the health is financial well-being so the majority of visitors had good material and living conditions. Safe psychoemotional conditions in family renders dramatic effect on formation of a healthy way of life, quiet conditions have noted vast majority. Increase of a level of medical literacy influences frequency negotiability to doctors, including a preventive orientation. From among completely informed respondents in 10 times the repeated number of references, than among unaware has been more often noted. Conclusion. Increase of a level of knowledge of activity of the center of health will assist an increase of number of references connected with a preventive orientation that will assist formation of motivation to the personal responsibility for the health.
